Oversight of Bungartz walk behind tractors -- FRN / K and H5 series, built from 1955 till 1960 by Bungartz in München, Germany
Bungartz FRN (4-series) with 7 hp Sachs Stamo 280 two stroke petrol engine. Two forward and one reverse, duplicated by a high-low gear.
Bungartz FRK (5-series), with 7 hp Sachs 280 engine. Three forward and one reverse, duplicated by a high-low gear.
CAB F3 made in Bergamo, Italy. Ca. 1956-1959, looks like the Bungartz FRN series 4 or 5. The owner is Stefano Winckler in Italy. Engine is an air cooled Lombardini 4-cycle petrol engine.
The Bungartz H5 (4- and 5-series) was virtually the same machine as the FRN and FRNK, but it had a smaller engine: the Sachs Stamo 200 of 5 hp. In later years, the H5 got an 8 hp Stamo 280 as well, and now the difference was that the H5 lacked the high-low gear, so had only half the amount of gears.
Latest model of Bungartz FRNK, with 8 hp Stamo 280 engine. This is one in the 7-series. The 6- and the 7-series both were equipped with full differential and wheel clutches for easier manouvring. The 6-series had different operation of the wheel clutches.
This was my Bungartz FRNK with 7 hp Berning Di7 four stroke diesel engine, built 1959.
The FRNK was also available with a Berning Dk8 four stroke petrol engine, or a Hatz E79 four stroke diesel engine, but I have no pictures of these.
Bungartz FRN / K as supplied in the USA. Engine was a Wisconsin AENL 9.2 SAE hp petrol engine.
