Oversight of Bungartz walk behind tractors -- H3 series, built from 1940 till 1957 by Bungartz in München, Germany
Bungartz H3 (series 1), available with 2 hp Fichtel&Sachs engine model Stamo 6, and with 3 hp engine
model Stamo 23. Built from 1940.
Bungartz H3 (series 3, the 1949 model) with TWN GeMo 170 engine, 4 hp at 3000 rpm.
The same machine was also available as model HF, with friction clutch instead of snap-in clutch.
Bungartz H3 (series 6, the 1954 model) with TWN GeMo 170 engine, 4 hp at 3000 rpm. Two stroke petrol, could also be run on paraffin after the engine had warmened up. Care had to be taken to switch back to petrol 5 mins. before stopping the engine, to avoid starting trouble the next day.
Bungartz H3 with Ilo E200A engine, 4 hp at 3000 rpm, two stroke petrol. I have no literature
on this one, but the machine in the picture was originally fitted with this engine. It belongs
to Klaas Pranger of Oudkarspel, Holland.
Bungartz H3N (series 1, 1955 model) with Fichtel&Sachs engine, model Stamo 160, developing 4 hp at 3000 rpm.
Bungartz H3N (series 2, 1956 model) with Fichtel&Sachs engine, model Stamo 160, developing 4 hp at 3000 rpm. New were the bent steering column and the tool box.
